I've ust seen the 2nd part of the Harry Potter series, when Ron (?) and Harry, in a car are trapped in a strange tree that somehow wishes to hurt them. This photo reminds me of that tree, although I highly and strongly object portraying trees as enemies.
Despite of my memories of the HP movie, this is one great photo.
Thankyou. I don't know much about Harry Potter but trees are a well known scaring device in horror films.
Tell you what, I'll go back in Spring and take a shot of it when it's in blossom or in full leaf.
(Still not quite sure what kind of tree it is.)

Is it some sort of a willow tree, perhaps? Or a sugarberry (Celtis occidentalis)?
