One might wonder if the dogs were male and female, too?

Szelsofa, what do u mean by that comment?
Why do you wonder about the sex of dogs??

Diane.

If you look up close the dogs look really sad (probably becoz they are tied up), that is more of a concern to me than their sex!!

Szelso Fa - Probably both male or both female.

Diane - I think it was in relation to the photo of the male and female ducks, I sometimes theme double photo posts. The dogs did look a bit sad. They seemed to be owned by an old chap who sat reading his paper and smoking his pipe.

Diane, this isn't actually my main blog. My main blog is

http://illmandirtynotes.blogspot.com
It's a bit more suited to banter and stuff..... Do pop in and say hello.

Thanks IllMan for clearing it up. And yes, as the duck were a pair (male and female) I wondered if the dogs follow the same pattern.
I see that they are ties with their leash but I had a dog and I know sometimes a dog owner has to tie his/her dog up.
It is not a big problem for a dog (provided that such confinement does not last long), but some dogs are apt to show deep deep sorrow even at the beginning of being tied up. But the master is the master. S/he has to tie up his/her dogs and that's not a big deal.
Call PETA or what?

Szelsofa, hi, Im also sorry. I was a bit grumpy as Im tryin to stop smokin & I had drank too many stimulant drinks that night, sorry! Im not excusing my rudeness but slightly justifying it!

I also hate to see any animal caged or tied but I understand sometimes it has to be done. Maybe not in this case tho' as ill man said their owner was sittin readin a newspaper & smokin while they were tied to the fence. So the dogs had every right to look sad and they probably genuinely were sad!!

Anyway I didnt mean to upset/anger you in any way, please accept my apologies,
Diane.

"justifying" is obviously the wrong word. Not only am I rude but also illiterate!!

That's okay, Diane, no problem on my part.
We both apologized and that is so humane...
and also it displayes how misleading virtual communication can be..

Szelsofa, thank you for being so forgiving,I was very rude and probably dont deserve to be forgiven, so thanks!!

Its really not in my nature to be like that; nicotine withdrawal, caffiene, alcohol and the forthcoming full moon are getting the blame.
Again Im sorry,
Diane x

Diane, no problem at all, it's all cool. A bit of stack blowing is ok, just try not to hit too many innocent civillians...;D

A general rule is that folk can be as rude as they like to me, as long as they take it easy on each other.

Oh, and beware of the Red Bull..... It's evil. =D
