The final shot on this blog.
Almost exactly a year ago, I started posting photographs on this site, with the notion of providing a photographic diary of my life. To be honest, it feels to me to be a little limited in it's scope of locations, mainly because most shots were taken going to or coming from work. Alas, I'm not yet a man of leisure............... Also, towards the end, some motifs begin to repeat themselves a bit, but I hope the variety of the shots taken has been such that I've kept a few of you amused.
The links have been fixed to allow easier access to the blog. You can select a specific location tag, or a seasonal tag (summer, winter, spring, autumn) from the sidebar. You can also scroll back through the blog from this page or select the oldest shot (27th November 06) from the blog archive and shuffle through them chronologically. So there!
I'll continue to tidy up some of the scruffy loose ends, file down the sharp edges etc as well as adding little pieces of annotation to some of the photos, so keep an eye on yr bloglines/aggregators for updates. Or just pop in every now and then. I have a notion for a new blog, but it'll be a project for the new year and I haven't fully formed the idea yet. Keep an eye on my main blog here for further info.
I'd like to thank Let's Kill Saturday Night and Lism for linking to me and popping in every so often with kind words. Thankyou both.
Szelsofa for being my most frequent visitor and providing me with her unique perspective on life, keeping me on my toes with regard to the locations and subjects of my shots and generally giving me encouragement to continue this lunatic undertaking.
Finally, to my lurkers (there must be a few) Speak now or forever haud yir wheesht!
I'd really like to say hello to some of you...........
Ok, all out for 365. Not a bad innings...................

Not a bad innings at all! And there have been some real moments of greatness among the 365...
I'm going to miss this blog, it's become a part of my morning routine! Congratulations though.
Wow. Hadn't seen this before. I'm truly impressed by your massive undertaking here.
Let me guess though - you live in the West End!? I lived in North Kelvinside once upon a time so this brought back some nice memories. I used to particularly like walking back under the M8, then down Maryhill Road after going to the GFT. With all the neds, yes.
Cheers for the plug on your main site too!
It was a brilliant job, considering that you posted every day a glimpse of what you have actually seen on that day; plus, some of the photos are exceptionally great and truly inspiring.
Thank you for having let me peep into a beautiful and real world I never knew existed.
Lism - Cheers! There are a few shots in there that I'm pretty proud of, but on the whole I'd say the project itself is the thing. The whole being greater than the sum of it's parts and all that.....
For my next trick, I think I'm going to keep going with the random nature of the shots in this blog, but do it in a different way.
Cocktails - I do live in the West End. Just off Maryhill Road near where the old Stockline factory was. I used to live at the top of Belmont Street. The M8 features a fair bit on Seven Days, it kind of infests my day, as my office is right next to it. I have mixed feeling about the old 'concrete tomb'. It fascinates me, but it's also a hellish and ugly piece of construction. Except at night when it takes on a completely different and more photogenic ambience.
Szelsofa - Thankyou. It's been a pleasure putting this stuff up for my little audience, but I have to say your input has been a bit of an inspiration itself and your questions regarding the photos have made me rethink the way I present the blog.
Anyway, the photos are all now tagged, the locations can be entered in 'Google Earth' and you can now all follow me to work every day =D
Cheers!
Well done ! I have enjoyed it very much.
Cheers! Keep making yr photo posts. They're brilliant.
You must live right by my pal Julie then. she's just behind the Stockline factory too. I shall stalk you next time we're in Aldi ;)
I shall look forward to it........... =D
